We run D String Guitar Repair mostly on an appointment basis. You'll contact us, tell us what you need, then we'll either arrange an appointment or recommend a visit for an evaluation and consultation.
Smaller, predictable jobs, such as Setups, can be booked easily and completed quickly. Larger, complex jobs, like damage, or restorations, are dependent on the evaluation and can take much longer.
The key to coordinating your needs and ours is communication. It's critical that we are "on the same page". Consultation time is best for these instances. Nothing is better than meeting up person to person. We will discuss what's needed, how long it will take and how much it will cost. If we agree then we go to the calendar and figure out when the work can be done.
Large jobs can take unpredictable twists and turns, and when that happens we will talk to you to see how to proceed. We ask that you recognize this as part of the repair process, and be flexible when changes occur.
